Week 10 of the NFL season kicked off Thursday with the Chicago Bears taking a 16-13 win over the Carolina Panthers. The second primetime game of the week features the New York Jets (4-4) taking on the Las Vegas Raiders (4-5) on Sunday Night Football.

The two teams are in very different places than they'd expected just months ago. The Jets are 0.500 after losing quarterback Aaron Rodgers to a torn Achilles on the first drive of Week 1 and a 27-6 loss to the Los Angeles Chargers. The Raiders just notched their biggest win of the season after the franchise fired both coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler.

Both teams are making their second and final SNF appearance in 2023. The Raiders lost their first SNF matchup against the Steelers in Week 3. Davante Adams caught two touchdowns from Jimmy Garoppolo but the Steelers held on for the road victory. The Jets hosted the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 4 and lost a close 23-20 matchup to the defending Super Bowl champions. New York players and coaches were outwardly frustrated with the late penalties in the loss.

Sunday Night Football this week offers both teams a chance to get their fifth win of the season in a competitive AFC. But both offenses could struggle: the Raiders bounced back last week but face a tough Jets defense and the Jets offense hasn't scored more than 20 points in weeks.

Best anytime TD Bets for SNF Week 10:

After managing just two touchdowns over the Raiders' first seven games, Jacobs has scored three in the last two. Jacobs set season highs in carries (26) and yards (98) last week against the Giants. He scored both touchdowns before halftime to push the Raiders' lead to 21-0.

The New York Jets boast one of the best pass defenses in the league. The unit's in the top four in passing first downs, passing touchdowns, passing yards per game, and passer rating allowed.

The same cannot be said for the Jets' run defense. The unit's given up the third-most rushing yards per game but only five touchdowns. There will be plenty of opportunity for Jacobs to get into the end zone and he's shown a nose for it in the last few weeks.

New York's rushing defense is bad but Las Vegas' is worse. The Raiders are allowing 138.7 yards per game and have given up 10 touchdowns on the ground so far in 2023.

Hall has scored a touchdown in three of the last four games. He's a threat to score in the receiving game as well as the rushing attack with the third-most receptions on the Jets in 2023.

The Raiders' defense held strong against the Giants last week but the Jets' weapons could find more room this week.

The rookie tight end has yet to score in 2023 but he could be a surprise on Sunday Night Football. He's caught at least one pass in the last five games in a row, including a breakout game against the New England Patriots in Week 6.

If there's one weakness in the Jets' pass defense, it's against tight ends. Five of the eight passing touchdowns New York's given up in 2023 have been to tight ends. Tight ends for the Cowboys, Patriots, Chiefs, and Broncos all scored against the Jets. It's a longer shot but could be worth the risk.

Worst anytime TD Bets for SNF Week 10:

The Jets' pass offense has struggled lately. Quarterback Zach Wilson's racking up more yards in the last couple weeks but hasn't thrown a touchdown since Week 4.

The Raiders are among the better defenses in the league in yards passing allowed per game and have given up 11 passing touchdowns this season. Wilson's one of the most sacked quarterbacks in 2023 and Raiders' edge Maxx Crosby will likely look to tee off again. Wilson may get yards but finding the end zone will be tough.

  • Las Vegas Raiders WR Davante Adams (+220)

Adams hasn't scored since the Raiders' last Sunday Night Football game against Pittsburgh in Week 3. He won't find the going much easier this week; New York's given up only one touchdown to wide receivers all season. The Buffalo Bills' Stefon Diggs scored in Week 1, and it's been a shutout since then.

Rookie Aidan O'Connell is facing one of the better defenses on the Raiders' schedule in 2023. It'll be tough to throw against the Jets' front and secondary. Adams could pile up a solid yardage total but finding the end zone will be a tough ask.

The Raiders' pass defense has given up three touchdowns all season to tight ends and just one in the last six games. Wilson, as stated earlier, hasn't thrown a touchdown in months. Going against the Raiders defense with Crosby could make it tough for any passing touchdowns on SNF. If one gets through, it likely won't be to Conklin.
