New York Islanders Assign Julien Gauthier To Bridgeport Islanders, Recall Liam Foudy

The New York Islanders announced they have assigned forward Julien Gauthier to their AHL affiliate Bridgeport Islanders and recalled forward Liam Foudy.

Gauthier cleared waivers and will join Bridgeport, he is pointless in one game with the Islanders this season. Gauthier had nine points in 27 NHL games and 10 points in 17 AHL games last season.

The 27-year-old has 115 points in 205 career AHL games.

Foudy has four assists in five games with Bridgeport this season. He had 16 points in 28 AHL games last season and three points in 13 NHL game with Columbus and Nashville.

An extremely fast skater, Foudy will likely slot in on the Islanders fourth line. He has 22 points in 102 career NHL games.
