Mtn Dew Turned Baja Blast Into A Hot SauceMtn Dew

Mtn Dew's Baja Blast, the brand's beloved tropical flavor, is known for a lot of things: it's refreshing, blueish in color, and makes for an awfully good frozen drink at Taco Bell. But one thing it's certainly not known for is bringing the heat. Well, my friends, that's about to change.

Mtn Dew recently announced that in honor of National Hot Sauce Day (January 22), it has partnered with the Houston, Texas-based sauce shop iBurn to release the first-ever Baja Blast hot sauce. You can still expect that familiar fruit taste, but in addition to lime, the hot sauce flaunts a medley of savory peppers.

"The new MTN DEW Baja Blast Hot Sauce merges the iconic tropical flavor of the fan favorite MTN DEW Baja Blast with the heat from habanero peppers, green chiles and jalapeño peppers for a taste straight from Baja Island!" a description of the hot sauce reads.

You will need a little luck on your side to get your hands on it, though, given that only 750 bottles of the condiment were made. But if you're feeling lucky, you can head over to the Mtn Dew website for your chance to win their Baja Blast hot sauce.

Once you've made it to the giveaway page, you'll be prompted to choose one of four dishes you'd like to add Baja Blast hot sauce to if given the chance. Good luck bringing the heat home!
