Wycombe skipper Grimmer signs new deal
Wycombe Wanderers captain Jack Grimmer has signed a new undisclosed-length contract with the promotion-chasing League One club.
Grimmer is Wycombe's longest serving player, having made 196 appearances since arriving from Coventry City in 2019, 22 of them this season.
The right-back was a member of the Chairboys side that won promotion to the Championship under former boss Gareth Ainsworth in 2020, beating Oxford United 2-1 in the play-off final at Wembley.
"Jack is a hugely important player for us on and off the pitch and we're delighted to make sure he remains here beyond the current season to help drive us forward," said current boss Matt Bloomfield.
"He continues to perform to the highest standard week in, week out, and he is such an influential and well respected character in his role as captain, someone who is pivotal to the culture and values of what our club stands for."
Wycombe were third in the table at the start of 2025, just one point behind Wrexham and two adrift of leaders Birmingham City.
