WWE Competition Series ‘LFG’ Sets A&E Premiere Date

WWE’s new competition series officially has a premiere date at A&E.

“WWE LFG,” short for “Legends & Future Greats,” will launch on Feb. 16 at 8 p.m. ET. on A&E. It will be followed by the debut of “WWE’s Greatest Moments” at 9:30 p.m. and the return of “WWE Rivals” at 10:30. Both “LFG” and “Greatest Moments” were announced in December as an expansion of WWE’s A&E content offerings.

In “LFG” 16 contestants will compete for a spot in NXT, WWE’s developmental brand. They will be trained during the show by WWE legends like The Undertaker, Booker T, Mickie James, and Bubba Ray Dudley. In addition, WWE Hall of Famers Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE’s Chief Content Officer, and Shawn Michaels, WWE’s Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative, will help guide the competitors as they earn points for their performances.

“WWE’s Greatest Moments” will feature legendary play-by-play announcer Michael Cole hosting half-hour episodes with various WWE Superstars & Legends, including “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, Hulk Hogan, Kevin Owens and others, to share vivid recollections and perspectives on the most remarkable moments in wrestling history.

“WWE LFG” is produced for A&E by WWE. Levesque, Lee Fitting, Ben Houser, Michaels, and Jeremy Borash executive produce for WWE, with Rob Sharenow, Elaine Frontain Bryant and Brad Abramson serving as executive producers for A&E.

“WWE Rivals” is produced for A&E by WWE. Levesque, Fitting, and Houser executive produce along with Marc Pomarico. Frontain Bryant and Partridge serve as executive producers for A&E. “WWE’s Greatest Moments” is produced for A&E by WWE. Levesque, Fitting, Houser and Pomarico executive produce. Frontain Bryant, Abramson, and Partridge serve as executive producers for A&E.
