WOMEN, AC MILAN v LAZIO: MATCH PREVIEW

After rescuing a late draw in the derby, the Rossonere are set to return to action at the PUMA House of Football as they look for their first victory of the season. AC Milan v Lazio, the team's fourth fixture of the Women's Serie A campaign, is a match to experience together (tickets here) against a newly promoted team that have impressed in their first few outings so far. Ahead of the 15:00 CEST kick-off on Sunday 29 September, here is everything you need to know.

LATEST FROM THE PUMA HOUSE OF FOOTBALL
The late equaliser in the derby is something to build on after a complicated start, with Laurent's goal helping the Rossonere get off the mark in the table. Now, at home to Lazio, the team have an opportunity to pick up their first win of the season. It's an important clash for Coach Bakker's side, who want to get their campaign truly up and running. AC Milan have a good record against Lazio, but need to produce a convincing performance and - with just two goals to their name so far - make more of their chances. The Rossonere are once again expected to line up in a 4-3-3 formation.

Coach Bakker ahead of the match: "We need to build on the positive things we did against Inter in the derby. This is another opportunity to take a further step forward. Given we're at home, we'll also have the support of our fans."

LATEST FROM LAZIO
So far, Lazio's return to Serie A has been decisively positive. Coach Grassadonia's girls came away with two draws from their opening two games - 2-2 in the derby against Roma and 1-1 away to Sampdoria - before falling to a narrow defeat to current league leaders Juventus. The four goals scored, all by different players, are a testament to the attacking quality of Lazio, who have displayed real character. The Biancocelesti often field a 3-5-2, and plenty of eyes will be on former Rossonera Martina Piemonte. The clash against AC Milan represents an interesting test to see how far Lazio have come.

Eleonora Goldoni had the following to say during the week: "It'll be a difficult match; AC Milan are a well-organised side. They've only picked up a point, but they possess a lot of quality. We're preparing as best we can."
