A woman has filed suit vs. two former Rutgers football players and the school after she said she was sexually assaulted by the former players in November 2015.

The woman, identified in the suit as “K.L.” according to Law 360, said she was assaulted by former players John Bowers and Marques Ford after a night of drinking in an on-campus apartment. Bowers, a former punter for Rutgers, is identified in the suit as the woman’s boyfriend at the time. The woman says in the suit she had too much to drink to give consent.

From the Asbury Park Press:

Both players appeared intoxicated, according to the female student, who was a minor at the time. After declining an offer to drink, the student woke up the following day with a swollen nose and lips, the smell of vomit on her hair, and abrasions on her elbows and knees.

She subsequently was told that she had consumed eight shots of tequila and engaged in sex with both players, according to the complaint.

Rutgers is named in the suit, for creating a sexually hostile environment. A representative for the school declined comment to NJ.com on the suit citing pending litigation.

The incident allegedly happened on Nov. 14. The AP notes both players were suspended by the team on Nov. 19. Bowers is now at Rhode Island while Ford is playing at Jones County Junior College in Mississippi. He’s listed as a three-star juco recruit per Rivals and has committed to East Carolina for the 2017 season.

The lawyer for the woman claims county prosecutors are investigating her allegation.
