Wolves confirm signing of highly rated Brazilian defender
Wolves have confirmed the signing of Brazilian defender Pedro Lima from Sport Club do Recife, subject to a work permit and international clearance.
The 18-year-old has put pen to paper on a five-year contract, with the option of an extra 12 months.
The highly-rated defender hails from the same city as his new teammate Matheus Cunha, which the club made note of on their official social media channels.

Speaking on the club’s latest acquisition, Wolves’ sporting director Matt Hobbs said: “I’m really happy we’ve been able to add Pedro to the first-team squad. There was lots of competition for him, but we’ve been working on bringing him to Wolves for a while now, and he’s fully invested in our project.
Lima becomes the Molineux club’s fourth signing of a busy start to the summer, and follows on from the confirmation of Jorgen Strand Larsen’s loan move from Celta Vigo earlier on Tuesday.
