Wojciech Szczesny recalls best opponents he’s faced: “Totti was certainly one of them.”
Former Roma goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny looked back on his career in a recent interview with ESPN.
The ex-Giallorossi and Juventus shot-stopper recently came out of retirement to play for Barcelona for the remainder of the season.
“Cristiano and Messi obviously were the best players I’ve faced,” said Szczesny.
“And I would probably say Totti,” he said, recalling his former teammate and Roma legend, “but I have never really played against Francesco, I have only faced him but he was something different in terms of finishing and precision.”
“As for the other two, the goal records speak for themselves. So those two and Totti, although Lewandowski will be angry with me for this answer.”
