Winger Ollie Hassell-Collins has become the latest Leicester Tigers player to sign a new contract with the Premiership high-flyers.

The 25-year-old is the fourth in as many days to extend his stay, following fellow England international Ollie Chessum, Tonga centre Solomone Kata and Scotland prop Will Hurd.

Hassell-Collins has scored 16 tries in 32 appearances for the East Midlands club since joining them from London Irish in the summer of 2023.

Tigers head coach Michael Cheika says the winger's six tries in 10 appearances so far this season "shows exactly why we really wanted him" to remain with the club.

"He is a great character in our squad and it's great that he will be in the green and red going forward," Cheika told the club website.

Hassell-Collins, who made his England debut in February 2023, scored 43 tries in just over 100 appearances for previous side London Irish - a side that went bust just months after his departure.

He says he is "enjoying life in Leicester" and added that it was "great" to have his future secured.

"We have a great squad, brilliant coaches and amazing support so there's nowhere I'd rather be right now," he said.
