Who will win Bruins vs. Panthers? Stanley Cup Playoffs predictions, odds

If Game 1 was any indication, the Boston Bruins won't need seven games and overtime to take care of the Florida Panthers in the Stanley Cup Playoffs.

Two nights after an overtime thriller sent the Bruins past the Toronto Maple Leafs and into the second round, Boston took down the Panthers in Florida in a 5-1 beatdown on Monday. The win improved the Bruins' record against the Panthers to 5-0-0 this season.

The loss leaves Florida with much to prove heading into the Game 2 clash on Wednesday night. With a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals on the line, the Panthers will need to recover some ground before the series heads to Boston on Friday.

Here's everything to know about Game 2 of the Bruins vs. Panthers series heading into Wednesday night.

Boston Bruins right wing David Pastrnak (88) and Florida Panthers left wing Matthew Tkachuk (19) will go against each other in the second round.
