Wilson-Esbrand joins Stoke City on loan

Josh Wilson-Esbrand has joined Stoke City on loan until the end of the season.

The 22-year-old will spend the remainder of the 2024/25 campaign with the Potters who currently lie in 18th position in the Championship table.

The City Academy graduate made his City first team bow in a 6-1 Carabao Cup win over Wycombe in September 2021.

The young defender subsequently went on to feature in Champions League group home wins over FC Copenhagen and Sevilla in the 2022/23 campaign before spending the second half of that season on loan at Coventry City.

Wilson-Esbrand then furthered his development and experience last term with separate loan spells with French Ligue One side Stade de Reims and then Championship outfit Cardiff City.
