Wilshere boost for Gunners

Wilshere wants ruthless streak

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has confirmed Jack Wilshere has been named in the squad to face Galatasaray in the Champions League on Wednesday after training with his team-mates on Tuesday. The England international was expected to miss out on this week's Emirates Stadium encounter after suffering an ankle injury during the 1-1 draw against Tottenham on Saturday. However, he was able to undergo training at London Colney this week, and Wenger has since penned his name down on the team sheet, but refused to guarantee the midfielder any game time. Wenger said: "He (Wilshere) is in the squad for (Wednesday), whether I start him or not I don't know yet but he is in the squad. "I have left (Abou) Diaby out as well because he is not completely there yet." Meanwhile, another boost for Arsenal has seen the return to training of Theo Walcott, who has been missing since January with a ruptured cruciate ligament injury, although this week's clash comes too soon for the striker. "Walcott is joining in full training I think (he may be back) next week which is very good news," Wenger added.
