Leeds United face Preston North End away from home this weekend, with the Whites looking to build upon back-to-back league victories.

Sky Bet Championship wins over Derby County and Middlesbrough have pushed Daniel Farke’s side back into the top two places and ahead of the next game, Willy Gnonto gave his thoughts to LUTV.

Firstly, the winger reflected on the midweek win over Middlesbrough, in which he scored the first goal on our way to three points.

“It was a really good game. I think we played against tough opposition, but we played a really good game defensively and offensively too, and I think we deserved the win,” Gnonto told LUTV.

“I don't think it was my best goal, but the feeling is the same or even better, so I’m really happy.

“I did score against Swansea, but I didn't score in a long period, so it's nice to to be again involved with goals, with assists, and with good performances as well.”

This weekend, Gnonto’s side travel to Deepdale for a lunchtime kick-off, hoping to continue their recent strong league form, backed by over 5,000 travelling fans.

“We know that it's going to be tough,” previewing the game, the Italian international stated.

“Every game is tough, but this one is going to be even tougher. We know the way they try to play.

“The atmosphere is going to be nice, so we are sure we're going to have a good game.

“We always feel this support, you know, so we really try to work hard and give something back.”
