Wild's Top Players Won't Play Tonight Against Oilers

ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (27-13-4) are back in action tonight as they play host to the Edmonton Oilers (27-13-3) for the third and final meeting between the two teams this year.

The Wild will be without the same five players they have played the last three games without.

Kirill Kaprizov, Brock Faber and Jakub Lauko joined the Wild for morning skate on Wednesday but they will not play tonight. Wild head coach John Hynes did say it was encouraging to see the three on the ice.

Jared Spurgeon has skated on his own recently and is progressing. Jonas Brodin has yet to skate but has done some off ice activities. All five of them will not play tonight. They haven't the last three games. The Wild have gone 1-2-0 in those three games.
