The QMJHL's all-time point leader among active players, Moncton Wildcats forward Markus Vidicek has committed to Quinnipiac University for the 2025/26 season.

Vidicek, 20, has 32 points (20+12) over 39 games with the Wildcats, who he joined from the Halifax Mooseheads this off-season. Across his five season career, he's amassed 296 points (125+171) across 282 games split between the Halifax Mooseheads

The Montreal, QC forward is the second QMJHLer to commit with the Bobcats, following former teammate, Halifax defender Brady Schultz.

Vidicek is the second Wildcat to have committed to an NCAA program, following the recently traded Jacob Steinman (Bowling Green). He also is the second active Wildcat with an NCAA program, joining Detroit Red Wings goalie prospect Rudy Guimond (Yale) -- who signed with the team in November.
