Wild Will Be Without Jonas Brodin Tonight Vs Avalanche
ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (26-11-4) host the Colorado Avalanche (25-16-1) tonight before going on the road.
Minnesota is going to be without some major players tonight, including top defenseman Jonas Brodin.
Brodin, 31, suffered a lower-body injury in the Wild's 6-4 win over the St. Louis Blues on Tuesday night. He was on the ice for the final three minutes to preserve a one-goal lead.
The 6-foot-1 defender blocked a shot in the final minute and that will keep him out of the lineup tonight against the Avalanche.
Not only Brodin, but the Wild will also be without Brock Faber, Jared Spurgeon, Kirill Kaprizov, Jakub Kauko, and possibly Marc-Andre Fleury who is sick and was not on the ice for morning skate.
