Wild Sign Goaltender Dylan Ferguson To A One-Year Two-Way Contract
The Minnesota Wild announced on Tuesday that they have signed Iowa Wild goaltender Dylan Ferguson to a two-way deal. They have placed him on waivers for the purpose of sending him down.
Ferguson, 26, is 3-4-0 on the year with the Iowa Wild with a 3.30 goals-against average (GAA) and .900 save percentage (SV%) in seven starts in the American Hockey League (AHL) this season.
The Wild signed Ferguson to a one-year one-way deal before the season and have now signed him to a two-way deal which allows for him to be in the NHL if needed.
Top prospect Jesper Wallstedt has missed the last four games for the Iowa Wild so this signing could be indicative to the signing of Ferguson.
