In 13 AHL games, Novak recorded two goals and three points. He posted 14 goals, 13 assists, and 27 points in 44 games for the Heartlanders.

Novak has played in two games for the Heartlanders this season and has zero points. It is expected he will pursue hockey back home in Europe.
