Wild Place Jared Spurgeon On Injured Reserve
ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild announced on Monday that they have placed defenseman Jared Spurgeon on the Injured Reserve list.
Spurgeon, 35, suffered a lower-body injury against the Nashville Predators after Zachary L'Heureux slew-footed him. He was given a three game suspension.
The Wild are calling Spurgeon's injury as week-to-week but it seems like he will be out for 2-4 weeks. They recalled defenseman Carson Lambos in a corresponding move.
