Wild Host Calgary On Hockey Day Minnesota
ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (28-16-4) are back in action tonight to play the Calgary Flames (23-16-7). They wrap up Hockey Day Minnesota tonight.
Today marks the 19th Hockey Day Minnesota (HDM). The Wild play the last game of the day. There were four total games today. Two boys High School games at Valley Fair and a Division 1 Girls hockey game between the Minnesota Golden Gophers and the Bemidji State Beavers.
The Wild are 14-3-1 during HDM. They have an attendance record of 302,983 in the 18 home HDM games. FanDuel Sports Network's coverage of HDM has won 17 Emmys.
Opponents have only scored 38 goals as opposed to the Wild's 60 on HDM. There have been 25 Minnesota born NHLers who have skated on HDM and 18 NHLers who have played on HDM in High School.

This year's HDM is in Shakopee at Valley Fair. The temperature is 23 degrees in Shakopee. The lowest ever recorded HDM temp was negative 26 degrees. The warmest was 43 degrees. The average is 17.2 degrees.
The Wild are 11-11-1 on home ice this year but have always played well on HDM. We will see which record reflects tonight's game.
