Wild Healthy Scratch Yakov Trenin, Declan Chisholm
The Minnesota Wild (28-17-4) are back in action tonight against the Chicago Blackhawks (15-28-5). The Wild are making two changes to their lineup.
Yakov Trenin and Declan Chisholm are both healthy scratches tonight. Chisholm is scratched for a mental reset, Wild head coach John Hynes said. Trenin is scratched due to not being a "power forward."
Trenin, 27, is in year one of a four-year deal worth $3.5 million a season. He has four goals, eight points, and 125 hits in 44 games this year. He had zero hits last game and one the game before.

In the clip above Trenin decided to completely leave the play to go retrieve Jon Merrill's stick on the penalty kill. It ended up resulting in a 5-on-3 and the Flames scored.
Devin Shore will play instead of Trenin. Travis Dermott will play instead of Chisholm.
