Wild Announce Starting Goalie Vs Blues
ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (25-11-4) are back home to face the St. Louis Blues (19-18-4) tonight. We have found out the starting goaltenders for each team.
Filip Gustavsson will get the start for the Wild with Jordan Binnington between the pipes for the Blues tonight.
Gustavsson, 26, is 18-6-3 on the season with a 2.20 goals-against average (GAA) and a .926 save percentage (SV%). Binnington is 11-14-3 on the year with a 2.79 GAA and a .899 SV%.
The Wild have played the Blues twice this season and won both of them. Gustavsson and Binnington started both of those games as well.
In his career, Gustavsson is 4-1-0 against the Blues with a 1.82 GAA and a .935 SV%. He also has a power-play goal. This year, Gustavsson is 2-0-0 with a 1.50 GAA, .942 SV%, and has a goal.
Binnington, 31, is 0-2-0 this year agains the Wild with a 3.03 GAA and a .887 SV%. He is 10-6-1 in 18 career games against the Wild with a 2.74 GAA and a .906 SV%.
