Wild Activate Joel Eriksson Ek Off Injured Reserve

ST. PAUL - The Minnesota Wild (22-10-4) have activated forward Joel Eriksson Ek off the injured reserve list ahead of their game against the Ottawa Senators (18-15-2) tonight.

The Wild are 17-4-4 with Eriksson Ek in the lineup this year and 5-6-0 without him in the lineup.

Eriksson Ek, 27, last played on Dec 3, he has missed the last 11 games with a lower-body injury that he sustained in overtime against the Vancouver Canucks.

He has been on the ice for the Wild the last few practices but particapated in his first full practice on Saturday.

The 6-foot-3 center is set to play with Marcus Johansson and Ryan Hartman on the second line.
