The Turin Prosecutor has banned Napoli fans from travelling for today’s Serie A game against Juventus at the Allianz Stadium.

The decision was confirmed on Friday, 24 hours before the kick-off of Juventus-Napoli in Turin.

Over 2,000 Partenopei supporters were expected to travel from Naples and its province, but the Prosecutor banned them from entering the stadium.

Napoli confirmed the decision from the local Turin authority with an official statement on their website.

Tickets in the away end at the Allianz Stadium can still be sold to fans with a Napoli Fidelity Card living everywhere except Naples and its province.

As Goal.com highlights, the decision was taken after Napoli and Cagliari supporters clashed during a Serie A game last week, leading to a seven-minute suspension at the Unipol Domus. Napoli and Cagliari were banned €30,000 each following the incidents.

Juventus have sold out the Allianz Stadium for today’s game with over 38,000 Bianconeri supporters.

It will kick off at 18:00 CET (16:00 GMT).
