Sergio Conceicao will not be speaking to the media at Milanello today, despite it being the eve of the game between AC Milan and Parma. When you break it down, it’s a decision that makes a lot of sense.

Ahead of every game, the standard is for Milan to host a press conference with the manager at Milanello or San Siro. This is not always the case, though, and tomorrow’s game against Parma is another example of that.

Indeed, Conceicao will not be speaking to the media today and that was announced by the club yesterday. Given the tight schedule recently, with two consecutive mid-week games played and one scheduled for next week as well, there simply wasn’t much of a point to host a press today as well.

There is only so much that the Portuguese manager can say about the tactics, so Milan’s press office thus opted against a presser today. With the mercato in full swing as well, most of the questions probably would have been related to that and this is not something Conceicao can speak on anyway.

Another thing to note is that Conceicao doesn’t like to speak to the media before games, as he has admitted himself.
