Real Betis are set to announce the loan of Antony from Manchester United very soon, with the €95 million man set to join the Andalucian club until the end of the season.

The Brazilian’s move has come out of the need for the 24-year-old to play more regular football, but how will he fit into Manuel Pellegrini’s plans at Real Betis.

The good news for Antony is that he is likely to slot right into his favoured right-wing role at his new club. Betis don’t really have an out-and-out right-sided attacker, with 19-year-old Jesus Rodriguez having played there most recently.

Aitor Ruibal has also played on the right-hand side for Los Verdiblancos this season, but is more suited to playing more defensively as a right-back.

Pablo Fornals is another player who plays on the right for Betis, but the former West Ham man will have is work cut out for him keeping Antony out of the side when he returns from injury.

Many eyes will be on Antony to see how well he will link up with Betis striker and fellow countryman Vitor Roque, who is on loan at the club from Barcelona.

Roque has seven goals so far this season, but the increased creative output which comes with Antony being in the team could well see his tally increase.
