We're entering the home stretch of the Premier League and Serie A campaigns, with the 2021-22 European tournament races gaining some more clarity.

Manchester City and Inter Milan have both already claimed the respective titles, but with some major clubs looking to gain Champions League entry for next fall, there's still plenty of intrigue left this season.

Without further ado, let's get into it.

Chelsea vs. Leicester City

Tuesday May 18 at 3:15 PM | Live stream

Chelsea is in a precarious position at the moment. Preparing for the upcoming Champions League Final on May 29, Chelsea has little incentive to field its best lineup for the duration of the Premier League season, in theory. In practice, it becomes more complicated as the Blues still need to fend off Liverpool for the fourth and final qualification bid for next year's tournament — if they win on the 29th against City, it will punch its ticket again, but this giant doesn't want rely on the back door.

For Leicester City, it's far less complex. On the verge of its best finish since the still-impossible to believe 2015-16 Premier League victory, Leicester is trying to make its way back into the Champions League for 2021-22. Fresh off the FA Cup final triumph over Chelsea, this rematch has a lot riding on it.

Leicester City vs. Tottenham

Sunday May 23 at 11:00 PM | Live stream

Leicester's strike partnership of Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy have received plenty of real estate in this space this season for good reason, but the club proved it can beat quality opponents when they're not driving in the goals, defeating Manchester United 2-1 on May 11 with markers from Luke Thomas and Çağlar Söyüncü. It's rare for the club to get offensive production from their backline, but while we're giving their defenders some praise, we'd be remiss not to mention Wesley Fofana's breakout campaign. Fofana, who signed a five-year deal with Leicester prior to this season, is being heavily linked with a potential move to United.

It's been a terrible year for Spurs, and the season finale will bring closure to a campaign wrought with mismanaged expectations, culminating in the firing of Jose Mourinho. Despite a brutal year, Harry Kane will be fighting off Mohamed Salah for the Premier League scoring lead, while Tottenham tries to rescue a Europa League bid. It's an inferior competition for a club that wants to be regarded seriously, but these are the stakes at hand.

Atalanta vs. AC Milan

Sunday May 23, TBD | Live stream

Atalanta scores in bunches and plays so aggressively on the offensive end that they've become a neutral's dream over the past few seasons. Ruslan Malinovskiy has emerged as one of the competition's best playmakers, but the real beauty of Atalanta is that it is a team in the truest sense. Josip Ilicic may be the headliner, if you had to pick one, but this team thrives on balanced scoring and hasn't lost in nearly two months since being eliminated by Real Madrid in the Champions League. Both Atalanta and Milan have secured Europa League bids at the very least, but neither party wants any part of the junior competition.

Milan is simply on fire lately, no longer reliant on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's goal scoring exploits to put them over the top. In a three-game stretch from May 1-May 12, Milan outscored its opponents 12-0. Croatian Ante Rebic is in top form, notching a hat trick against Torino in a 7-0 win on May 12.

Bologna vs. Juventus

Sunday May 23, TBD | Live stream

Bologna has nothing to play for but pride, though the opportunity to spoil Juventus' chances of qualifying for the Champions League may be incentive enough. Keep an eye on striker Rodrigo Palacio, who recently notched a hat-trick against Fiorentina on May 2.

Can Cristiano Ronaldo and Paulo Dybala rally Juventus to victory and climb over one of Milan, Atalanta, or Napoli? Frankly, that may depend more on the other combatants left in the race, but it'll be compelling to see a side as talented as Juventus go all-out and play its best football, with dire consequences facing the previously nine-time defending champions if they lose.
