West Ham United full-back Belloumou loaned to Malmö FF
West Ham United full-back Inès Belloumou has joined Swedish club Malmö FF on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
The Hammers announced the news via a post on their official club website this morning.
The 23-year-old joined West Ham United from Bayern Munich last summer. She was initially loaned out to Italian club S.S. Lazio in the first half of the season to build the necessary appearance criteria needed to play in the Barclays Women’s Super League. Belloumou made nine appearances for S.S. Lazio in the Serie A Femminile eBay.
It has today been reported that Belloumou has returned from her loan spell in Italy and she will now spend the second half of the season in Sweden with Malmö FF. The Blue Ones are currently in pre-season training ahead of the 2025 OBOS Damallsvenskan campaign. Malmö FF are scheduled to kick-off the season with some Swedish Cup action in early March.
Belloumou is an exciting player for the future at West Ham United. The defender has gained plenty of experience from her spells with Olympique de Marseille, Montpellier HSC and FC Bayern Munich. On the international stage, Belloumou has represented France up to and including Under-23 level. The youngster could be competing for minutes at West Ham United next season.
