West Ham close in on ambitious triple transfer with medicals booked
West Ham are getting closer to signing a trio of players in quick succession in the summer transfer window.
The Hammers have already shown a willingness to spend big this summer, signing Max Kilman from Wolves for £40m on a seven-year contract.
The Premier League side have also bought Luis Guilherme for £25.5m from Palmeiras on a five-year deal, while Wes Foderingham joined from Sheffield United on a free transfer.
New manager Julen Lopetegui is evidently still on the hunt for new recruits following a flurry of reports on potential new signings.
At least two new players look set to join West Ham this week after deals were agreed for Niclas Fullkrug and Guido Rodriguez.
Sky Sports claim that the east London outfit will pay Borussia Dortmund £27.5m including add-ons for Fullkrug, who has agreed personal terms on a three-year contract with the option of an additional year.
Rodriguez has agreed to sign for West Ham on a free transfer after leaving Real Betis at the end of his contract. Both players are expected to be in London on Saturday for medicals.
Crysencio Summerville could be the third player to join the Premier League side this weekend. Reports earlier this week claimed a deal worth up to £34m had been agreed and Fabrizio Romano suggests the transfer could be completed before the week is out.
Three could turn into four if West Ham manage to strike a deal with Manchester United for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, although there is still work to be done on that front. The Hammers are said to be ‘working hard’ on it, with discussions over a fee and deal structure ongoing.
