Watertight Burnley keep 10th clean sheet of league season
Burnley's clean sheet in their 1-0 win at Bristol City means they have now only conceded six goals in their opening 16 Championship league fixtures.
Scott Parker's side limited Bristol City to two shots on target on Saturday despite giving up 52% of possession.
Jaidon Anthony's first-half strike was enough to take all three points at Ashton Gate and move the Clarets up to third in the league.
Burnley have now registered 10 clean sheets in the league and have not conceded more than one goal in any of their matches this season.
The six conceded are the fewest at this stage of a second-tier campaign since Manchester United in 1924-25.
Saturday's win also signalled Burnley's third clean sheet in a row following a 0-0 stalemate at West Brom and a 1-0 victory over Swansea City before the international break.
