England and Australia will today begin the 2025 Women’s Ashes.

The multi-format cricket series begins with an ODI at the North Sydney Oval as the hosts look to defend their crown.

The teams will earn two points for a victory in the white-ball games, or take a point each if there is a washout.

Four points are then awarded to the team who wins the Test match next month.

It will no doubt be a tough test for England, who have not lifted The Ashes since way back in 2014. Beating the holders in their own backyard is quite the challenge.
