Watch: Top plays from Week 2 of Kentucky’s high school football season

High school football teams across Kentucky create a treasure trove of spectacular plays every Friday night.

From kickoff returns to touchdown passes to big sacks to bone-crunching rushes, those lucky enough to witness the highlights in person collect memories to catalog forever.

With more than 200 schools competing for championships, there’s no way to watch all the games. Fortunately, social media, cameras and phones are there for us. An army of media equipped with their tools of the trade join forces with fans, coaches and parents to put the incredible to video week in and week out.

With thanks and credit to all involved, here is a collection from Twitter/X of some of the best that Herald-Leader high school sports reporter Jared Peck (@HLpreps) produced himself and curated from elsewhere during Week 2 around the commonwealth.
