Watch: Tom Brady tries (and hilariously fails) to do play-by-play in German

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is good at a lot of things, particularly on a football field. Speaking German, as it turns out, is not one of his strengths.

The Patriots’ veteran right tackle, Sebastian Vollmer, was born and raised in Germany, only coming to the U.S. to attend the University of Houston to play football (American football, that is). The 6-foot-8 Vollmer does a segment on the team’s website, “Seabass’ School of Football,” in which he gets teammates to try to speak in Vollmer’s native tongue.

This week it was Brady’s turn. And he was really bad. Like, really, really bad. But he was a good sport about it. And made some funny faces too.

“You’ve won, I don’t know, four Super Bowls, MVPs, all this stuff … this is horrendous!” Vollmer says to Brady.
