How to watch NWSL Championship: Time, TV, live stream for Orlando Pride-Washington Spirit

The NWSL Championship game is near, with the Orlando Pride and Washington Spirit – the top two teams during the regular season – facing off one more time Saturday at CPKC Stadium in Kansas City.

The Pride enter the final as the top seed after a historic 2024. Orlando, which had only made the playoffs once in the club's prior seven seasons, didn't suffer a loss until the 24th match of a 26-game regular season. Striker Barbra Banda, a nominee for MVP, led the way with 16 goals, while legendary playmaker Marta (nine goals) produced arguably her best NWSL season. Head coach Seb Hines claimed NWSL Coach of the Year earlier this week as the Pride only conceded 20 goals in league play.

Washington's path to being the No. 2 seed has been less clear-cut. Head coach Jonatan Giráldez was signed from Barcelona during the winter, but wasn't available to take charge until June, with his assistant Adrián González leading the way for 15 games. U.S. women's national team star Trinity Rodman has proven critical as the Spirit have dealt with season-ending injuries to key players such as 2024 Rookie of the Year Croix Bethune and defensive midfielder Andi Sullivan. Washington's playoff wins both required extremely late equalizers, while goalkeeper Aubrey Kingsbury saved three penalties to get the Spirit to this stage over the defending champions, NJ/NY Gotham FC.

The Pride won both regular-season meetings against the Spirit, handing Washington one of its two home losses in a 3-2 battle in April before clinching the NWSL Shield (given to the league's regular-season champion) with a 2-0 win in Florida on Oct. 6.
