Watch: Mallorca defender mocks Real Madrid after 2-5 defeat to Barcelona

The atmosphere in the Real Madrid dressing room is not very good at the moment, having suffered an embarassing 5-2 defeat at the hands of arch-rivals Barcelona in the final of the Spanish Super Cup.

The loss in Saudi Arabia has stung the club badly, allowing the club’s adversaries to rub salt into the wounds by mocking the result.

Pablo Maffeo mocks Real Madrid

One of Real Madrid’s main adversaries is Mallorca defender Pablo Maffeo, due to his various duels with Vinicius Jr.

The former Stuttgart full-back does not share a good relationship with Real Madrid at all. While his fights with Vinicius has already been well-documented, the defender has shared heated moments with other stars as well, including Jude Bellingham.

Maffeo, though, appears to have embraced his image proudly and to further infuriate the Real Madrid supporters, he has mocked the club following their defeat to Barcelona.

The full-back appeared in today’s training at the Mallorca camp with a big smile on his face. And now, a video has surfaced showcasing him mocking Real Madrid by enacting a gesture.

In the video, Maffeo can be seen raising two fingers on his one hand and five in the other, in a direct reference to the scoreline in the Spanish Super Cup final.

It must be noted that Maffeo’s Mallorca side suffered a 3-0 defeat to Real Madrid in the semifinal of the competition, during which he was involved in multiple heated altercations with Vinicius and other Los Blancos’ stars.

Maffeo, though, doesn’t seem to care much about that result and is more intrigued at the prospect of making fun of Real Madrid.
