Watch: Kylian Mbappé may have saved Vinícius Jr. from a more lengthy ban for red card vs Valencia

Footage of Real Madrid star Kylian Mbappé has piqued widespread attentions across the club’s fanbase this weekend.

As much comes after the Frenchman played an important part in assuring that teammate Vinícius Jr. did not step yet further over the line against Valencia.

Real Madrid of course kicked their endeavours for 2025 into gear with a comeback victory at Mestalla on Friday night.

The aforementioned Vinícius Jr, for his part, featured from the off in the clash, but was forced to watch on from the dressing room as his teammates turned things around.

This comes after the Brazilian was shown a straight red card, for directing his hands into the head/neck of Valencia no.1 Stole Dimitrievski.

And it was during the aftermath of as much that Kylian Mbappé may well have saved his attacking partner-in-crime from a more serious infringement.

With Vinícius in the thick of a heated exchange with the hosts’ players, Mbappé quickly made a beeline for the 24-year-old, before dragging him away from the drama.
