Watch Hoosier guard give sister a huge surprise Christmas gift

Indiana Hoosier basketball player Anthony Leal is a 6-foot-5 junior guard who made his older sister's Christmas the most epic one yet.

In a viral video, Lauren Leal can be seen opening a card from her brother with an endearing note along with the message that he has paid off her student loans. Anthony was able to knock out Lauren’s loans using his name, image and likeness (NIL) money as a NCAA student athlete. Lauren played basketball for DePauw University.

“You’re a spark of goodness that brightens the world,” the card read. “You radiate kindness and bring happiness to so many people, especially me.”

After realizing what she read, Lauren said, “I don’t even know how much that is!” Anthony responded with, “I do — it’s zero now.” The gift was capped with warm embrace between the two siblings.
