With college basketball season right around the corner, major programs all across the country are playing in exhibition games in preparation for the 2024-25 campaign.

Two programs meet on Sunday night when Duke takes on Arizona State.

The game will air on the ACC Network at 7:00 p.m. ET.

Duke enters 2024-25 with huge expectations, in large part because of incoming freshman Cooper Flagg, one of the most hyped-up recruits in quite some time.

Flagg has already looked impressive in preseason action, dropping 22 points, six assists and four blocks against Lincoln last week. The Maine native has great length and size for a wing, and plays with a level of energy, even on defense, that is rare for a superstar recruit. If he can just continue to improve on his one-on-one shot-making and his passing, we could be looking at the next generational superstar.

Duke enters the season as a Top 10 team in the eyes of many. Whether they can break through that ceiling and contend for a national championship will largely depend on the play of Flagg.
