Watch Connor McDavid Have Fun at His Epic Wedding

EDMONTON -- Connor McDavid is the new "captain serious."

While that moniker has referred to other hockey captains in the past, the Edmonton Oilers' McDavid has become the poster child for the phrase. Observers often cite his lack of emotion during post and pre game interviews as the primary reason for their views.

Over the past few days, images and videos have been released from the McDavid wedding. A lot of them show McDavid "letting down his hair" if you will.

The first video (that was originally posted by the Loud Luxury band, who played at the wedding) shows McDavid and several others vibing behind the band. Most of them have their shirts unbuttoned, with former Oiler Ryan McLeod dancing without a shirt at all.

In this clip you can see McDavid nodding and bobbing his head. It certainly seems like he's having a good time.

There are also various Instagram stories that show McDavid loosening up. However, the most fun he appears to be having was at a different moment during the wedding party.

That's right, McDavid is riding Zach Hyman's shoulders and is absolutely loving it. McDavid is a highly focused individual, but the only thing he is focused on here is having a good time.

For someone who (appears) so serious all the time, it's great for him to enjoy himself. Considering that this was his wedding, it shouldn't be surprising to see him like this.

McDavid has demonstrated that he knows how to have a good time. Let's hope the labels of him "not being fun" fall off after this.
