Indianapolis (6-7) kept its playoff hopes alive in dramatic fashion last week, with Anthony Richardson's two-point conversion with 12 seconds to go as the difference in a 25-24 road win over the New England Patriots. It's been an up-and-down 2024 for the young quarterback, as the victory summed up: Richardson threw for two touchdowns and came up with a game-winning play, but was just 12-for-24 (with two interceptions) overall. For the Colts to climb into a playoff position, more consistency under center is a must.
Denver (8-5) has stepped things up lately, winning three straight at a critical moment in the season. This run of victories has seen the Broncos post an average of 36 points per game. Most recently, Denver took down the Cleveland Browns en route to a 41-32 home win. The Broncos came up with two pick-six interception returns, but the highlight-reel moment may have been a 93-yard touchdown from wideout Marvin Mims Jr.
