Watch: Blindfolded man sinks hook shot from over 65 feet away
Sept. 20 (UPI) -- A Turkish man with a talent for basketball trick shots earned his third Guinness World Records title by sinking a blindfolded hook shot from 65 feet and 7 inches away.
Osman Gürcü, 42, beat the previous record for the farthest blindfolded basketball hook shot, which stood at 60 feet.
Gürcü, who plays on an over-40s basketball team, also holds the records for the farthest behind-the-backboard basketball shot (36 feet, 1.07 inches) and the farthest basketball bounce shot (98 feet, 5 inches).
"Since I was young I've been interested in trick shots like the longest distance shot, it was my dream to break a world record like this," Gürcü told Guinness World Records.
