WATCH: Bears LB Tremaine Edmunds gets end zone INT vs. Colts
Even when the Chicago Bears defense gives up a big play, they usually make up for it later on. In this case, it only took a few plays.
The Indianapolis Colts were on the doorstep of scoring a touchdown following a big play from quarterback Anthony Richardson to wide receiver Alec Pierce. A few plays later at the three-yard line, Richardson tried to do too much and threw a pass into the end zone, which was tipped by Jack Sanborn and picked off by Tremaine Edmunds. The linebacker didn't return the pick, which gave the Bears the ball at the 20-yard line.

The turnover was the first of the day for the Bears, but they weren't able to do anything on their next possession. Quarterback Caleb Williams threw an interception of his own near the sideline a few plays later, which led to a Colts touchdown. Chicago's defense will need to create more turnovers to limit Indy's offensive production as the Colts lead 7-0 in the second quarter.
