Washington Capitals Recall Ethen Frank, Assign Ivan Miroshnichenko To Hershey

The Washington Capitals have recalled forward Ethen Frank from the Hershey Bears, it was announced Friday.

In a corresponding move, the Capitals assigned forward Ivan Miroshnichenko to Hershey.

Miroshnichenko, a 2022 first round pick of the Capitals, has split time between the NHL and AHL this season, producing four points in 18 games with the Capitals and 14 points in 16 games with the Bears.

Frank, a product of Papillion, Neb., has spent the entire season thus far with the Bears, collecting 20 goals and eight assists for 28 points in 35 games.

Since turning pro with the Bears at the end of the 2021-22 season, Frank has been a consistent offensive producer for the team, accumulating 125 points across 161 regular season games. Having yet to make his NHL debut, Frank could see that opportunity arise during this recall.
