A person paid over $50,000 a pop for two courtside seats to Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Toronto Raptors on the Warriors’ official website, according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell.
It’s an exorbitant sum and we’re trying to fathom why anyone would pay so much for a game. The Warriors are leaving Oakland for San Francisco next season to play in the state-of-the-art Chase Center, and are in a position to win their third consecutive title, their fourth in five years, so it may be the chance of a lifetime.
Being a part of a potentially unforgettable Finals run is something that most fans would jump at if they had the chance, and money truly is no object for two lucky fans.
