Yahoo Sports Walsall sign Drogheda defender Ahui
League Two leaders Walsall have signed full-back Elicha Ahui on an 18-month contract with an option of a further year.
The 21-year-old, though, will not be part of their promotion push as he has been loaned straight back to Irish club Drogheda United - where his previous deal had expired - until January 2026.
Ahui began his career at Lincoln City but joined Drogheda last summer following a previous loan spell at the club and helped them win the FAI Cup by beating Derry City.
"Elicha is a fantastic athlete who competes well defensively and is another player who fits perfectly with the model of young, hungry players who want to improve and get better. We will monitor his progress closely," said Walsall boss Mat Sadler.
