VOLLEYBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Liberty Ipsen, Centennial: The Patriots remained undefeated with a 25-21, 26-28, 25-8, 25-18 victory over Capital in which Ipsen contributed 23 assists, 10 digs and three aces.
Olivia Fischer, Columbia: The Wildcats swept Ridgevue and won in three sets over Melba as Fischer totaled 47 digs and four aces.
Riley Beck, Owyhee: The senior middle blocker helped the Storm open the season with a 25-11, 25-13, 25-22 win over Boise with eight blocks, five kills and four digs.
Summer Foreman, Compass Charter: The Aviators kicked off the 2024 season with sweeps of Notus and Victory Charter as their junior outside hitter racked up eight aces with a service percentage of 62.1%, 16 kills, seven digs and a reception percentage of 88.65%.
Wren Wallace, Timberline: The Wolves outlasted Ridgevue 24-26, 26-28, 25-19, 25-21, 16-14 with Wallace collecting 14 kills, five aces and 11 digs.
Lakota Leppert, Parma: The Panthers played five matches last week, winning three. Leppert’s highlights included a combined 52 assists and seven aces against Payette and Emmett.
Avery Reece, Nampa Christian: The Trojans defeated Weiser 25-11, 24-26, 25-27, 25-22, 16-14 as Reece pounded out 15 kills.
Bellamie Beus, Skyview: The Hawks won a five-set thriller 25-23, 21-25, 25-21, 18-25, 15-11 against Timpview (UT) as Beus totaled 31 kills, 18 digs and three blocks.
