Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.
BOYS SOCCER PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Tucker Smith, Boise: The senior captain led the 6A state champion Brave defense that allowed only one goal in three tournament games, including holding top-ranked Rocky Mountain scoreless for the first time this season in the title match.
Graham Herzog, Owyhee: The Storm brought home the program’s first 6A state trophy, taking third, as Herzog totaled four goals and one assist in three tournament games.
Amjed Salim, Mountain View: The Mavericks won the 6A consolation championship, with Salim contributing two goals in three tournament games.
Elijah Grimaldo, Vallivue: The Falcons won the second state championship in program history as their junior attacking midfielder scored the game-winning goal in the first round and one goal in the 5A title match.
Rylan McPherson, Rocky Mountain: The Grizzlies finished as the 6A state runner-up, with McPherson totaling three goals and one assist.

GIRLS SOCCER PLAYERS OF THE WEEK
Bea Levi, Rocky Mountain: Posted three straight shutouts and turned away a crucial penalty kick in a shootout to decide the 6A state championship and lead the Grizzlies to the title.
Maizy Kluksdal, Boise: Anchored a Brave defense that didn’t give up a single goal in three games, leading Boise to a second-place finish at the 6A state tournament.
Sofia Lindsey, Owyhee: Earned the Storm a third-place finish at the 6A state tournament with her goal in a 1-0 victory against Timberline.
Elsie Wyatt, Middleton: Racked up four goals and two assists in three games to lead the Vikings to the third-place trophy in the 5A state tournament.
Lydia Lindsey, Fruitland: Scored twice in a 2-0 win over American Falls for the third-place trophy at the 4A state tournament. She also scored the only goal in a 1-0 victory vs. Coeur d’Alene Charter in the first round.
