Help us choose the best of the best in the latest Idaho Statesman girls basketball player of the week contest.

You can vote multiple times. This is meant to be a fun way to show support for athletes. This is not meant to be scientific.

Nominations are submitted by area coaches or taken from stats reported to the Idaho Statesman.

GIRLS BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Jennabelle Reece, Liberty Charter: The Patriots defeated Garden Valley 53-37 in nonconference action behind Reece’s game-leading 22 points.

Avery Patricco, Boise: Helped the Brave go 2-1 on the week, including tallying 22 points on 5-for-8 shooting from 3-point range to go with two steals in a 66-41 win over Borah.

Tariah Carter, Melba: The Mustangs went 3-0 last week with Carter dropping 19 points against Cole Valley Christian and 24 points, seven rebounds, five steals and two assists against Buhl.

Aarey Harris, Parma: Scored 15 points with seven rebounds in a win over Homedale and then had 13 points and an impressive 21 rebounds in a victory against Mountain View.

Rylee Walters, Salmon River: Racked up a game-leading 30 points to help the Savages defeat Garden Valley 59-53.

Logan Sailors, Rocky Mountain: Was a consistent contributor for the Grizzlies, averaging 11.4 points, 4 rebounds, 4 steals and 1 assist in three games.

Erin Hadley, Emmett: The Huskies started 2-0 in 5A SIC play, including a 65-42 win over Caldwell in which Hadley had 16 points, 11 rebounds and three steals.

Ashlyn Graklanoff, Timberline: The Wolves went 3-1 on the week, with Graklanoff averaging 9.8 points and 3.8 rebounds per game.

Kiet Martinez, Meridian: Contributed a team-leading 24 points as the Warriors came up just short in a 54-50 loss to Lake City.

Reanna Byers, Compass Charter: The Aviators defeated Notus, Treasure Valley Classical Academy and Horseshoe Bend as Byers averaged 16.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.7 steals and 1 assist per game.
