GIRLS WRESTLER OF THE WEEK
Elise Twait, Meridian: Won five straight matches to capture the 145-pound title at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
Ella Elordi, Eagle: Captured the 170-pound crown at the Reno Tournament of Champions after entering the field unseeded.
Gavin Brown, Rocky Mountain: Scored three straight decisions, including a 12-1 major decision in the semifinals, before finishing second to Elordi in the 170-pound division at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
Ava Bui, Centennial: Earned All-American honors at the Reno Tournament of Champions with her seventh-place finish at 100 pounds.
Katelyn Fowler, Middleton: Scored two first-round pins and a major decision for the 145-pound title at the Best of the West Invite in Pasco, Washington.
Lola Colo, Nampa: Posted four straight pins to win the 100-pound bracket at the Wiley Dobbs Invite in Twin Falls.
Kyra Cobb, Timberline: Rolled to the 107-pound crown at the Wiley Dobbs Invite with three pins and a major decision.
Caddy Tverdy, Garden Valley: Scored four pins and a tech fall to dominate and win the 126-pound division at the Wiley Dobbs Invite.
Zoe Fries, Kuna: Racked up three straight pins for the 145-pound title at the Wiley Dobbs Invite.
BOYS WRESTLER OF THE WEEK
Ryan Hirchert, Nampa: Reached the quarterfinals and took fifth in the 106-pound division at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
Jean Luc Guerra, Mountain View: Went 5-3 to finish in sixth place at 190 pounds at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
Logan Shaver, Meridian: Brought home an eighth-place finish at 165 pounds at the Reno Tournament of Champions.
Kaden Mackenze, Fruitland: Was the top Idaho boys finisher at the Reno Tournament of Champions, finishing second at 157 pounds.
Gabe Cox, New Plymouth: Became the first placer in school history at the Reno Tournament of Champions, finishing seventh.
Draven Johns, Caldwell: Scored three straight decisions to improve to 18-0 and capture the 132-pound title at the Best of the West Invite in Pasco, Washington.
Ryan Lewis, Middleton: Racked up three straight pins for the 175-pound title at the Best of the West Invite in Pasco, Washington.
Hyrum Heindel, Kuna: Posted four first-round pins to improve to 16-0 and bring home the heavyweight crown from the Wiley Dobbs Invite in Twin Falls.
Benji Martinez, Timberline: Racked up three straight first-round pins for the 157-pound title at the Wiley Dobbs Invite.
